Seoul Art Space Geumcheon: Call for Applications

Remodeled from an old printing house, Seoul Art Space Geumcheon is an idea factory aiming at an international artists residency and collaborative project studios to facilitate global and local aesthetic encounters. With 19 resident studios, 5 hostel rooms, 1 co-work space and 1 rehearsal room for the members of the community, Seoul Art Space Geumcheon can host artists from a wide range fields including visual arts, installation art/media arts, performing arts/experiment arts, and critical theory.
Seoul Art Space Geumcheon is calling for international visual artists for the 7th Resident Artists programme at in 2015. For artists from outside Korea, 3 month residencies are offered to 9 artists/artist teams; 2 artists/teams will be selected for an Urban Research Project exhibition in 2016. Artists can choose from the following residency periods:
a. 2015.07.01. ~ 2015.09.30.
b. 2015.10.01. ~ 2015.12.31.
c. 2016.01.01. ~ 2016.03.31.
d. 2016.04.01. ~ 2016.06.30 ※Participate in Urban Research Project exhibition & Open Studio
Seoul Art Space Geumcheon will provide support for round airplane tickets, accommodation, studio and other expenses.
