You are invited to the round-table discussion “War Memories” by Charles de Gaulle on the occasion of publishing the first volume “L’Appel” in Vietnamese.

Speakers:
– Mr. Jean-Noël Poirier, Ambassador of France in Vietnam
– Mr. Pierre Journoud, professor of contemporary history at the University Paul-Valéry Montpellier
– Pro. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh, Rector of VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

This first-person narrative reveals the magnitude of the task that was assigned to General De Gaulle by launching, on BBC, his famous call of June 18, 1940 in favor of resisting to Nazi Germany and the Vichy regime.
