Act I

A rustic village

Giselle, a beautiful young girl enjoy life who is adored by her native villagers and Grant, the village gamekeeper, is desperately in love with her.

Once to go for a hunt, prince Albrecht disguises himself as a peasant and captivated by Giselle’s frail beauty and innocence. First see first love and dance steps make them fall deeply in love.

Grant filled with suspicion and jealousy. He exposes Albrecht’s disguise and proclaims that he is already bethothed.Overwhelmingly distraught and horrified, Giselle dies of a broken heart.

Act II

A forest clearing

Nightly, the Wilis: abandoned brides who rise from the grave to prey on the men who wronged them punished Gant.

Albrecht, laden of feelings of guilt and remorse, visit Gissele’s grave. The leader of Wilis discovers Albrecht and demands that he share the same fate as Grant but is unable to permeate invisible bond of love that Giselle has for him.

Love conquers all even death.
