This fascinating book is a collection of articles by Claude Levi-Strauss between 1977 and 2001 on the country of the rising sun. Under his anthropological perspective, Japan is revealed in a new light with its original features: tradition and modernity, science and faith, language and culture, gastronomy and kind. The other side of humanity is revealed. A book worthy to be read and reread.

The work was translated by Nguyen Duy Binh and published by the Sao Bac Media Company in November 2016.
