From the organizer:

Hanoi International Queer Film Week (otherwise known as HIQFW), is a non-profit Queer-themed Film Week that screens both Vietnamese and International cinematic works.

The main theme of HIQFW this year is “Pride journey”. Each day of film week has a topic which sticks to the main theme: “Who I am”, “Discrimination” “Love”, “Acceptance”, “Pride”. From that, we believe we would be able to introduce audience the path of pride that LGBT people as well as queer people go through.

HIQFW 2017 will feature 23 films, including feature films and documentaries, from 8 countries around the world about LGBTQ people.

Screenings will be held continuously with two screenings per day on April 17-21, 2017
