From Nha San Collective:

Queer Forever is pleased to announce the screening of Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s films “The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant” (22 Jul) and “In a Year of Thirteen Moons” (23 Jul) as part of a Film Screening program organized by QF and DOCLAB this year.

Film introduction:

The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant

Petra von Kant is a successful fashion designer – arrogant, stinging, and complacent. She has a rather satisfying S & M relationship with her assistant, Marlene. When she started to abuse her silent assistant, everything became much more complicated in the confused story of love and hatred.

In a Year of Thirteen Moons

Several years ago, Erwin confessed to his colleague Anton that he loved him. “It’s a shame, you’re not a woman,” he replied. Erwin brought Anton’s words to Casablanca, and now, once again, Erwin hopes Anton will not refuse him.

Language: Germany with Vietnamese subtitles.

In order to support Queer Forever’s non-profit activities, we look forward to your small contribution before the show. Free entry

Nhà Sàn COLLECTIVE is not a museum, a gallery or an international culture institute where completed work are presented by established artists. Just like Nhà Sàn Studio before, it is a working studio to nurture where artists can create, collaborate, be given advice, critiques, and have chances to meet with international artists, curators. Works that are presented at open studio every month could be finished or not, but the process of developing idea and working to improve the quality of the art work for local artists is what Nhà Sàn COLLECTIVE focuses on.
