You are invited to the Meet & Talk: Discussion with author Dao Mai Trang about the book “Hoa si khoa Khang chien 1950-1954” (translation: Artists from Class of the Resistance war Against America 1950-1954). Moderator: Duong Thu.
The book “Hoa si khoa Khang chien 1950-1954” is a history monograph on this particular art class and its 22 students, illustrated with hundreds of artworks of theirs and their teacher – artist To Ngoc Van. It will open up new ideas and thoughts about the role of fine arts and artists in the fights for independence and in the social history of modern Vietnam.
