Plenty of activities and events to participate in this month with FVH:

– City Walk to ‘36 Guild Streets’ area in Hanoi’s Ancient Quarter on Tuesday 24 October (in Japanese). Contact the event organizer, Kamiva, on [email protected]
– City Walk to Đền Quán Thánh, stories of Trúc Bạch lake and Ngũ Xã island on Wednesday 25 October (in English). Contact the event organizer, Stella, on [email protected]
Film night at Vietnam Feature Films Studio, 4 Thụy Khuê Street, Tây Hồ, on Thursday 26 October – “save the date” with details of the screening to be confirmed. Contact the FVH Film Group on [email protected]
– City Walk to the Ba Đình area and “French Colonial Quarter” on Sunday morning 29 October (in English). Contact the event organizer, Stella, on [email protected]
– Talk on the topic of “Money, Money, Money – History of Vietnamese banknotes” on Sunday afternoon 29 October at N Square, 51 Tô Ngọc Vân, Quảng An, Tây Hồ. This lecture in the FVH Cultural Series is presented by Mr Hồ Trọng Minh who designed the 500,000 VND note. Minh now teaches graphic design at the Fine Arts University while writing his thesis and a book on the history of Vietnamese paper money. Contact the event organizer, Stella, on [email protected]
