From the organizers:
You are invited to the exhibition “Lang le” (Quiet) by three artists: Hoàng Đức Dũng, Nguyễn Văn Đức and Nguyễn Văn Cường. The exhibition presents artworks with the theme of Spring, depicting the simple, ordinary yet beautiful things in life.
Hoàng Đức Dũng paints dreamy scenery drenched in the mist on days of season change. His artworks create the half-real, half-unreal sensation of a dream realm.
Nguyễn Văn Đức’s works describe the mountainous scenery with generous, if almost “dancy” brushstrokes. They celebrate the human life of those on the mountain through the highland landscape filled with greenery and flowers in Spring.
Nguyễn Văn Cường portrays “Spring” on the faces of young ladies, aged women and children. To him, Spring is the moment of reminiscence on dreams, memories in life on the face of each and every one.
