From TPD:

Youth is immortal, but the days of youth will never return once they are gone.

The cinema of Taiwan is one of three distinct historical threads of Chinese-language cinema together with the cinema of Hong Kong and the cinema of China. Similar to its “neighbors”, Taiwanese cinema has had its prosperous years with deep influence in the Asian film market.

Apart from world-famous directors and actors such as Hou Hsiao-Hsien, Ang Lee, Ang Lee, Tsai Ming-liang, the Taiwanese movies are also well-known for their romantic depiction of youth – the best time of one’s life.

In these spring days of the new year, TPD would like to introduce four outstanding Taiwanese movies about youth. Each film will be screened on one Friday night, beginning February 23.
