Equation is a three-day boutique festival celebrating quality dance music from Asia and the world. The event is held at Son Tinh Camp on the shores of the majestic Dong Mo Lake, an hour’s drive from Hanoi.

The electronic music rendez-vous returns in April 2018 to bring together all the influencers, artists, promoters, dancers and music-lovers who keep the Asian underground dance music scene alive and vibrant. Curated by the people behind club Savage in Hanoi and Cliché Records and Fragrant Harbour in Hong Kong, the event will fuse together local and regional talents with international acts to offer an eclectic musical journey blending house, techno, disco, funk and the indescribable.

CAMPING

The camp site is set in a dedicated area away from the stages. It’s the quietest place with the best view.

There are private tents available for 1, 2, 3 or 4 people with bedding package (jigsaw mat, blanket, pillow) included that you can book on the Eventbrite and Ticketbox pages. You can also bring your own tent for free.

THE SITE

The festival takes place on the banks of the idyllic Dong Mo Lake, at the scenic Son Tinh Camp, an hour’s drive from Hanoi. Surrounded by over twenty islands and hectares of pristine land, you can dance in the forest, relax by the lake or swim at sunrise.

MUSIC

The festival is carefully curated to create an intimate and unforgettable musical experience and will fuse together local and regional talents with international acts. You are sure to find a sound to match your mood at any time of the day and night: there will be two Funktion-One equipped stages to dance to house, disco and techno beats and a chill-out area dedicated to ambient music.

GETTING THERE

A short drive from No Bai international Airport or Hanoi CBD, there will be busses and also private transfers available leaving from Hanoi city (more info on this coming soon). The event commences at 3pm on Friday the 6th of April and will conclude at 8pm on Sunday the 8th.

FLIGHTS

Lots of you will now want to book your flights to get to Hanoi (Noi Bai International Airport). We highly recommend using Skyscanner or Momondo to find the best flights. If you need any help for booking flights, please email our team at [email protected].

FOOD

An array of Hanoi’s best food vendors will be present on site to quench your hunger at all hours of the day and night. More info to be released soon regarding the various restaurants and chefs involved in the event.
