From the organizer:

You are invited to Le Thi Hien’s first solo exhibition with sculptures chosen from her works for the last 10 years. This is also a milestone for the artist’s career which spans for nearly 30 years in both the local and global art scene.

More than 10 sculptures and installations, with different medium (painted steel, painted wood, etc.) and different methods from what are usually seen in sculpture art, will be exhibited; one of which named “Multi-forme”, with 12 modules sized 45cm x 65cm x 55cm each, will change its installation daily throughout exhibition time.

Born in 1957, sculptor Le Thi Hien graduated from Vietnam University of Fine Arts in 1986. A former lecturer at Sculpture Department of Vietnam University of Fine Arts, having received scholarships to live and practice arts in Canada and Belgium, she continuously participates in exhibition, workshops, art camps in Vietnam and in the world. Le Thi Hien’s sculptures in the last 10 years have a pure modernist language with broad & minimal geometricism; more especially, those that were made with painted metal cutting, folding techniques have created an impressive artistic identity.
