From the organizer:

In continuation of the artist’s solo exhibition of lacquer paintings “Lat cat tram tich” at Vietnam Fine Arts Museum in 2015, “Wild Banana” by Tran Ngoc Hung showcase a new series of paintings on the traditional Dó paper.

“Wild Banana” includes more than 30 artworks made with powdered colors on Dó paper. Wild banana flowers are just an “excuse” for the artist to reveal his findings of visual art language, personal thoughts and emotions. Extravagant and adventurous, Hung’s paintings on Dó paper hold his own emotions and passion on his creative career. Hung paints simply, sweetly, passionately, but we still see his complex techniques when working with the materials, totally mastering the paper and the colors… to express the artist’s personal creativity.

Tran Ngoc Hung, once defined his career, just continues on the path he chose and the art scene awaits his next exhibitions. The artist currently works at Vietnam Fine Arts Museum.
