From Heritage Space:

Heritage Space & Normal Day are honored to introduce an expanded cinema installation – “Normal Day: An Interactive VR Documentary”.

“Living on a limb. Living on borrowed time. It is very liberating.” – Tatyana Kot.

“Normal Day” is an interactive VR installation in which actor Tatyana Kot reflects on her experiences with breast cancer through dance, poetry, and performance art. The work follows both Tatyana’s daily routine as she deals with her diagnosis, and her inner emotional world as she strives to maintain a sense of normalcy.

By combining tactile human connection with the visual immersion of VR, “Normal Day” unlocks new dimensions of the real in the most profound and surprising way. Such haptic interactivity is made possible through proprietary technology, designed to allow the striking emotional valences of human touch to contour the viewing experience.

“Normal Day” is, ultimately, a heartfelt embrace from Tatyana, unleashing a staggering flood of sensations in the viewer’s heart and body, at once intimate, empathetic, and sublime.
