Six artists Luu Vu Long, Dinh Quang Hai, Le Chi Hieu, Vu Trung, Nguyen Thuy Duong, Mai Dai Luu are friends. All of them are engaged in professional artistic careers, and after much thought, they decided to have a group exhibition together.

They named the exhibition “(…)”, looking forward to even more opportunities to work together on their future artistic endeavors. The exhibition opens at 6 pm on 18 Dec 2018 at Vietnam Fine Arts Museum.

Six artists are familiar faces in the local art scene.

Luu Vu Long was born in 1976. His paintings are unique, they are reflection of social lives in a new, bright, yet thoughtful manner.

Dinh Quang Hai was born in 1979. His paintings include shapes and colors that give out Pop Art vibes. Hai’s painting is a reflection of dreams in a vibrant and splendid space.

Le Chi Hieu, born in 1979, presents a collection made on traditional dó paper. The paintings connect historical and literature stories in which he has immersed himself in passionately. Through these paintings, he also wants to confide his thoughts to the audience with shapes instead of words.

Vu Trung, born in 1982, has been a renowned lacquer artist. This time, he brings new thoughts and reflections in a new series made with a special material – ammunition boxes.

Nguyen Thuy Duong, born in 1981, brings about a breathe of sea with her paintings. Her paintings hold in them expressions which call for various reflections and private emotions.

Mai Dai Luu, born in 1983, presents his large size painting collection with naïve and existential expressions which convey distinctive messages.

The exhibition opens from 17 until 22 December, 2018.
