From the organizer:

The sun is finally out and we are celebrating with 5 great walks and a wonderful excursion:
Really? That guy makes bronze objects in his kitchen on little Ngũ Xã island? The largest single-pour bronze object in Vietnam is in the pagoda there?

What is all that stuff those in those temples and what does it all mean? Where are they going with that? Who is that funny-looking bronze guy with the big head in Quan Thánh Temple, anyway?
Wow! That is one huge house behind Hàng Da Market! Oooh! That is some weird food – what is that stuff? French fry street, really? You’ve got to be kidding!

Mmm, Lãn Ông Street smells so good! This stuff cures what? Oh, you’ve got to be kidding – I have to know Japanese to go on this walk?

A temple to General who? And, they got rid of Hồ Chí Minh??? A temple to a little stone doll? That place with all the kitschy ceramic statues is a temple? Naahh! You’re putting me on! Anyway, why is that cathedral so dirty?

Well, someone’s got to carve those little things, don’t they? Oh my god! That is the biggest pagoda I’ve ever seen – and the town is so lovely!

Sign up early – demand is high!
