With three critically acclaimed albums under their belt, plus two bootleg remix albums that set the blogosphere on fire and past tours with Daft Punk, Björk, Interpol, Franz Ferdinand, CSS, Super Furry Animals, The Killers, Mogwai and more, Brooklyn’s favourite electro wizkids RATATAT are bringing their special brand of wildcat mayhem to Vietnam for the first time this month.

Fresh from their debut shows in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong and riding high on a wave of sell-out dates from San Francisco to Sydney on their LP3 world tour RATATAT are set to hit Hanoi for one night only: Saturday May 30.

Unless we haven’t made ourselves clear – this is serious shit people and we’re lucky to have the boys in town.. let’s show em what Hanoi’s all about!

What:

RATATAT, DJ Polo and the CAMA Sound System

When:

Sat. 30 May 09 – 8pm until we can go no more.  NOTE: the boys from Brooklyn will be on stage at 10pm sharp.  We’re not going to take any risks.  Make sure Hanoi’s there to welcome them.

Where:

Thai Tu Ga (formerly Nha San Ben Ho), Bo De, Long Bien, Hanoi – turn right at the end of Chuong Duong bridge, drive 500m and turn right again into Bo De street (it’s where the Petrolimex petrol station is – watch for the sign).

Cost: 160k on the door.   Believe us, this is not a profit-making exercise!  Your support makes this possible.

With thanks to Nine Dragons premium liquors and Heineken for also helping make things viable.
