01 – 08 October 2010, 9 pm

A Dream in Hanoi (2009, 16 minutes) tells a story about a young boy whose life is changed forever when he meets a ballet dancer on the streets of Hanoi. This is the true story of how Cao Chi Thanh (principal dancer with Vietnam National Ballet) first was inspired to begin studying ballet at the age of 11. The film features Cao Chi Thanh himself and introduces Pham Ngoc Thanh – a young promising ballet student from Hanoi. The film was shot entirely in Hanoi and presents an interesting perspective on the capital of Vietnam.
