The HCMC Fine Arts Museum is proud to organize “Reach for the moon” festival on the occasion of mid-autumn festival.
Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most significant festivals in Vietnam. But now, the traditional lanterns seem to disappear and are replaced by plastic or battery-powered ones.
In hope to preserve the traditional cultural values, the HCMC Fine Arts Museum organizes a special program which includes:
* Lantern-making class: 9:00 to 18:00
Using raw materials (bamboo, paper glass, paint …)
Come to this class to learn how to make and own a beautiful mid-autumn lantern!
* The Mid-Autumn Night – 18:00 to 21:00 with music, tea, cake, film and lantern exhibition.
This festival is not only for children but for all those who were once children and want to experience the feeling of childhood eagerness for Mid-autumn festival!
