The groundbreaking and controversial Vietnamese band Dai Lam Linh will perform in the show “Vietnam – Denmark Contemporary Music 2010”. In addition to Dai Lam Linh, Danish saxophone player Lotta Anker, the Hanoi Ca Tru Thai Ha Ensemble, Ha Linh and string orchestra from National Academy of Music in Vietnam will also take part in the show.

The show contains new interpretations of old songs, focusing more on emotions rather than words, as a continuous performance, and so it will be even more operatic/theatrical than before. Dai is pushing the boundaries further where music is not the accompaniment to lyrics as with most Vietnamese music.
