HRC is a live music/arts venue on a bold and simple mission: to bring to you a stream of world-class bands, DJs, performers & artists from Vietnam, Asia & across the world.

Toothbrush: is the latest band to hit the Hanoi music scene. Four talented boys with way too much spare time and too little money have formed the greatest band ever for the love of sex, unprofessionalism and good dental hygiene. If the ghost of Django Reinhardt formed an old time funk love band with 5 fingered 1920’s Jazz hands and 12 bar blues caravaning folk tails in vests, then Toothbrush would be their underpaid cleaners.

Gibbon Suburbia: Gibbon Suburbia’s eclectic, heavy layered arboreal sound sits on a sonic bed of solid hard rock, drawing inspiration from hardcore, protopunk, garage and progressive rock with a generous dash of psychedelic grunge-instrumental experimentalism. Having played at various venues and festivals around Hanoi for the last year, the band brings its unique sound to Hanoi Rock City and will be debuting several new songs off its forthcoming album – Simian Kiss.
