From Hanoi Rock City:
It’s time to get serious again with more face-scrunching, finger-splitting, air-punching guitar music that will leave Saturday night ringing in your ears.

Ranging in styles from alternative to thrash to metal, all three bands (Recycle, Thrasher, Thủy triều đỏ) are cutting their debut on the wooden planks of the HRC stage – and we don’t expect to see much of it left by the time these boys are through!

For more information about the band and ticket price, see below:
THRASHER
Throwing us in at the deep end will be Thrasher. Quoting Porcupine Tree, Jeff Beck and Steve Vai as some of their influences and “trà đá and nhậu” as their common interest, this tight, new metal outfit has been getting the nod from older bands and guarantees to hit the spot for all you Pantera lovers.

THỦY TRIỀU ĐỎ
Thủy triều đỏ (Red Tide) are one of the bands at the core of Vietnam’s rock history. Established way back in 1999, the band have done much more than merely survive the test of time – they have produced two full-length studio albums, New Sun (2003) and After the Rain (2006), and gone on to become one of the country’s biggest and most renowned stadium rock bands. Thủy triều đỏ have more than twenty self-composed tracks to choose from in this much anticipated first appearance at Hanoi Rock City.

RECYCLE
Since 2007, Recycle have been making a name for themselves as one of the leading alternative bands in Vietnam. They know how to rock the big stage too – entertaining audiences at the CAMA festivals in 2009 and 2010, Rock Storm Hai Phong (2010) and at the Asean’s Best Band Finals in Malaysia (2010). With two music videos and a couple of EPs already under their belt – Chilled (2008) and Recycling (2008) – things are looking good for this band that slimmed down from 7 members to 4 over the years and really found its own sound.
