International theatrical arts project: is calling for application

From Life Art:
The international theatrical art project is based on the collaboration between French Theater (Vietnam) and Sherman Cardiff Theater (the United Kingdom). The project is expected to be implemented from 2011 until the end of 2013.

The aim of the project is to create a working environment for the artists of the two countries to exchange experiences and work in the theater. This is also an exchange program to build capacity for artists in this theatrical art area. In preparation for the project, the coordinating board recruits 06 members who are actresses/actors, and musicians.

Requirements:

– Age from 18 to 35
– Has talent and experience in performing art (Vietnamese traditional performing arts, dancing, hiphop…) or can play traditional musical instruments.
– Has the passion for experimental art.
– Creative, open and willing to learn.
– Committed to participate in training and project schedule (02 years, part-time).

Selection round:

Round 1: Application screening
Send 01  application letter and 01 CV with detail experience relating to performing arts, highlighting the candidate’s strong points and clearly state why he/she applies for the post. All documents are to send to Mr. Xuan Binh at [email protected] before Fri 08 July 2011, 6 pm.

Round 2: Shortlist
In round 2, the candidates will participate in improvisational exercises and improvisation in performance and/or music.

Time: 09 July 2011, 2 – 6 pm
Place: The Black Box – 2nd Floor, 54-56 Nguyen Khuyen

Round 3: Training – selecting round
In this round, the candidate will be trained on experimental art with director Robert Hale and Phan Y Ly in 4 lessons. The final result will be announce shortly after the training.
