Ca-Tru-Hanoi-Club

Every Saturday, 8.30 pm
6th floor, 34 Hoang Cau street (Fansipan mushroom hotpot)

From the organizer:

Great news for fans of Vietnamese traditional instrumental music and ca tru:

Every Saturday night, at 8.30pm, on the 6th floor of 34 Hoang Cau street (Fansipan mushroom hotpot), you can enjoy a terrific performance “Bach Van ca tru and friends”. Well-known traditional instrumentalists such as Ngoc Anh (flute), Thu Ha (tam thap luc – 36 strings), Thanh Nam (drum), Bach Van (ca tru singer) and Ba Hai (dan day – ca tru instrument) perform both classic ca tru melodies and contemporary music by traditional instruments with very interesting twist. This cozy space will draw the audience closer to the artists for a intimate yet respectful atmosphere you hardly find elsewhere. Best thing yet, this show is ABSOLUTELY FREE! Space is available on a first come first serve basis, however, so please arrive early to reserve your seats, no need to register.

Email: [email protected] (English and Vietnamese)
Phone: Bach Van (091 354 4876) (Vietnamese only)

  2. There is a well-known traditional Vietnamese music, whited called Ca Tru. If you have chance, please come to 42 Hang Bac Street on every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday night and enjoy this kind of music! The performance starts from 8pm to 9pm. The location is in the Old Quarter and not far from Hoan Kiem Lake. Bet that you will love it :)
