You are invited to the special seminar about Patrick Modiano on the occasion of publishing his books in Vietnamese ”Ở quán cà phê của tuổi trẻ lạc lối” and ”Phố những cửa hiệu u tối”.
The seminar is under the framework of European Literature Days – a part of Europe Days in Vietnam 2014.
Patrick Modiano was born in 1945 in Boulogne-Billancourt. He did not do any further study after receiving his baccalaureate in 1967. From 1968 after publishing his first novel “La Place de l’Étoile” he focused merely on writing. In 1978 he received the Prix Goncourt for his novel “Rue des boutiques obscures” (Missing Person) and in 2000, Modiano was honored with the prestigious Grand prix de littérature Paul-Morand for his lifetime achievement.
