You are invited to the music night with 3 bands: Projectionist, Numbfoot! and Lark Minkous.

Projectionist – Post-rock

Projectionist will continue their quest to make your minds melt with this motley medley of musicians: Stephen Hoang, Hanoi-favourite, much-loved for his various projects including MacheteSxMx, Zamina and Dream Machine, is leaving Hanoi very soon. This will be one of your last chances to see this beast in action. With Samuel Burno on drums and Guille Parsons on trumpet, expect a big sound that goes from loud to very loud, to a bit quiet and then really f-king loud. This is also your FIRST and LAST CHANCE to catch Projectionist playing live with the Canadian whirlwind Alex Formosa. He’s bringing his experience of the Montreal and Barcelona post-rock scenes into the Projectionist mix for one last show, before leaving to study a PHD in Music in Hong Kong on Thursday. So come and say goodbye, he will be sorely missed. All this will be complemented by a visual feast, courtesy of Mr Nikolaj Svennevig.

Numbfoot! – Psychedelic Blues

“Brooklyn original Brett Zweiman teams up with Hanoi favourites Dave Payne (Ngu Cung, Zamina, Gibbon Suburbia, etc.) and Ha Dinh Huy (basically everyone, ever) to bring you Hanoi’s newest trio and rad musical concontion: Numbfoot! They’ll be bringing groove laden psychedelic jams from around the globe!”

If you were lucky enough to catch them at ATK a couple of weeks back, you’ll know what to expect: a really exciting new group combining their formidable musicianship with high energy, pulsating grooves. Not to be missed!

Lark Minkous – Soundscape

Lark Minkous – A.K.A Dan Henneberry – has been thrilling Hanoi audiences for years with a variety of different projects. Lark Minkous is beautifully balanced, delicately built soundscapes using an array of musical equipment. Float into other worlds on his latest musical voyage.
