From Hanoi Sound Stuff Festival:
Hanoi Sound Stuff Festival aspires to create a unique world of quality electronic and experimental music and art with boundary-pushing sounds, creative performances and collaborations between International and Vietnamese artists to spur an interest among young Vietnamese audiences.
For the past 8 years, Hanoi Sound Stuff Festival, initiated and organized by Tri Minh, has brought to Vietnam numerous talented sound artists and DJs from across the globe. In its 8th year, Hanoi Sound Stuff Festival welcomes several international artists of Vietnamese origin including Chi Thanh (Germany), Chi Thien – Chopstick (Germany) and Vannessa Van-Anh Vo (US). We will also witness the development of a new generation of Vietnamese sound art community through the Sound Awakener project by very young artist Nguyen Hong Nhung. Furthermore, there will also be the participation of Tri Minh’s very own quartet project “Sound from Hanoi”, which recently had a successful tour across the US.
