Mural Painting Contest at L’Espace

You are a painter, graphic designer, graffiti drawer or art student?

As part of its renovation, L’Espace (24 Trang Tien Street) offers some exterior walls of its building and driveway for a mural painting contest. The theme could be France or any things related. You can choose to create your work on all or a part of walls. Come and see the space for better realization.

The best project(s) will be rewarded:
– On Saturday 12 Sep – the re-opening day of L’Espace, the artist or group of artists will paint his work (or part of it) live on the driveway wall of L’Espace:
o A live performance to the public,
o Exhibit in the area then!
– Win 500 euros (12 million VND).

The contest is open to all applicants: Vietnamese and/or French individuals or groups.

Please send your proposals by Aug 24, 2015 with following contents:
– Mural Project
– Estimated budget for equipment
– Letter of application and individual/group introduction

Specially, our judging committee including:
– Tran Trong Vu, plastic
– Nguyen The Son, visual artist
– Nguyen Dinh Thanh, an expert in cultural communication, formerly in charge of culture at L’Espace
– Representatives of French Institute in Vietnam
will choose the best project(s).
