The British Council Taiwan and Lih Pao Cultural Arts Foundation are working in partnership to host the 3rd Lih Pao International Sculpture Biennial Awards. The competition for this award is now open for submission to all international and Taiwan participants from now until December 31st, 2015.
The award is a platform for international artists to showcase talents and an opportunity for international exchanges. We hope to encourage emerging artists to exhibit their works and to engage in dialogues and exchanges with global art circle.
Competition Theme: Transformation
Nowadays a script is not merely a way to communicate knowledge but also a form to present culture exchange and design. To celebrate the scripts’ evolution in civilisation, the topic of 2015 Biennial Awards is to explore the connection and the transformation between scripts and cultural change in our generation.
1. Gold Award: One winner; prize money of TWD 1,000,000
2. Silver Award: One winner; prize money of TWD 700,000
3. Bronze Award: One winner; prize money of TWD 500,000
