Jazz groove duo THE MUKANG FIELDS make their return to Hanoi in support of their upcoming album, joined by Melbourne underground electronica guru tomes for a night of cutting edge astral vibes.

The Mukang Fields is William Badger and Luke DallaGrana. Blending live sax, wailing synth drones and crunchy beats into a free-form space-jazz excursion, the Mukang Fields expand minds and shake dance floors in equal measure.

tomes is tobias paramore, australian born producer of dark, electronic grooves. toting an MPC and a stack of cassettes; patching in tape delays and gritty bass lines; wrangling soul loops and tape cuts into rhythmic saunas. tomes weaves a serious and soulful blend of stolen breaks, fuzzy samples, sizzling digital synthesis, and rolling rhythmic percussive glitches.
