You are invited to the round table discussion about the collection of 3 short stories by Flaubert with the participation of professor and translator Le Hong Sam, Phung Ngoc Kien.
When mentioning Flaubert, Vietnamese readers immediately think of the famous “Madame Bovary” but forget his series of three short stories entitled “Three Tales”, in which only “A simple heart” was translated into Vietnamese by Le Hong Sam and published with others in a short story collection. The other two finally have just been translated by Phung Ngoc Kien and published by Nha Nam. The presentation of the Vietnamese edition is a good starting point to get to know and discuss these amazing short stories of French classical literature.
