Hanoi Book Street
Street 19-12, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi

From the organizer:

On the occasion of opening Hanoi Book street, you are invited to participate in the launching of the book “Khu tập thể có giàn hoa tím” (A compound with a purple flower framework) and talk with author Duc Pham about the memories of his childhood in Hanoi in the Subsidy Era.

Author Duc Pham – born and raised in Hanoi – belongs to the first batch of the “8X” generation. He had such a colorful childhood, living in a compound in Hanoi in the early years of the ’80s in a period of economic subsidy.

Journalist and painter Do Huong said: “There are things that never leaves us though they happened a very long time ago. They are the love of one’s family and one’s childhood – the foundations on which one grows up. I call them the most precious assets of the hearts that know how to love. ”
