From the organizer:
After 16 years of recognition of homosexual marriage in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, more than 20 countries and territories and many other places in the world have approved homosexuality as a normal and common phenomenon. Freedom of love and expression, regardless of sex and sexual orientation is considered one of the topics that the world has been most interested in during 20 years of two centuries.
Pride Photo Award is an annual international photo contest for photos about sexual and gender diversity in Amsterdam. This is an opportunity for photographers around the world to tell the story of sexual diversity in their own country, to once again portray the colorful world of love. In 2016, more than 3600 photos were sent from 398 photographers with theme “Insider/Outsiders”. The “In/Out” exhibition will feature 43 photos in the final round of the Pride Photo Award 2016 from France, Mexico, the Lebanese shores to Siberia, the Philippines or Uganda.
