From the organizer:

You are invited to solo exhibition “Pho moi” (translation: New streets) by Pham Ha Duy Khanh.

This is the artist’s first solo exhibition providing a rustic, genuine perspective on city streets of a country man. Through smooth, quick and generous paint strokes, Khanh’s paintings depict the joyful and chaotic modern life and conveys the energy of youth. The exhibition hopes to ignite the love for Hanoi’s streets from each audience – the small alleyways, the Long Bien bridge, the Quang Chuong gate…

Born in 1983 in Vinh Phuc, Pham Ha Duy Khanh returned to his hometown to teach art after finishing his education at the Vinh Phuc School of Art. His career did not stop there – he continued to study at the National University of Art Education, then the Vietnam University of Fine Arts. He now has joined the community of young artists who works and lives in Hanoi.
