The talented French conductor Henri Pompidor, together with the choir and the orchestra of Vietnam National Opera & Ballet will bring to Hanoi audience two concert nights honoring French composer Jacques Offenbach. These two performances will be the chance for the audience to discover the mime style in Offenbach’s works and his classic operettas.
Tentative program:
– Orphée aux enfers (Orpheus in the Underworld)
– La belle Hélène (The beautiful Hélène)
– Les contes d’Hoffman (The Tales of Hoffman)
– La vie parisienne (The Parisian Life)
– La Grande-Duchesse de Gérolstein (The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein)
– Les Brigands (The Bandits)
