Vietnam Feature Films Studio (VFS)
No. 4 Thuy Khue, Tay Ho district, Hanoi

From the organizer:

“Lost and Found” by Director Vuong Duc is one of the few feature films focusing on the contemporary topic of aspirations and thoughts of the youth in society in the early days of Vietnam’s development.

It is a story which revolves around a mathematics teacher. He is kind and helpful but also very naïve, which causes him troubles. In a humorous and bitter way, the film raises a big question about the role and behavior of intellectuals in society. The cleverness of scriptwriter Nguyen Viet Ha combined with Dir. Vuong Duc’s special staging techniques has resulted in a special film, which also portrays the beautiful scenery and life in Hanoi nearly 20 years ago.

The film is 1 hour 40 minute long with English subtitles
