Continuing the success of Piano Series No.1 by Nguyen Duc Anh in December 2017, the musical startup Maestoso will kick of their activities in 2018 with another unique concert: Piano Series No.2 “GRANDIOSO” at Hanoi Opera House on 31 Mar 2018.
With the theme “GRANDIOSO”, pianist Luu Duc Anh will perform some of the masterpieces of classical music written for piano. The program includes compositions by world-famous piano composers such as Franz Liszt, Johanne Sebastian Bach, Edvarf Grieg, and Sergei Rachmaninoff.
Luu Duc Anh is one of the bright young artists on the current chamber music scene. He won First Prize at the Stockholm International Piano Competition 2017 in Sweden, and Special Prize at “Alain Marinaro” International Piano Competition 2017 in Collioure, France. With the dream of bringing classical music closer to the Vietnamese public, together with four friends, Luu Duc Anh founded MAESTOSO – the first startup to gather talented chamber music artists of Vietnam who studied or are currently studying abroad who wish to contribute their talents to the development of Vietnam’s music scene and classical music scene. The startup made their debut on 23 Mar 2017 with the concert Piano Series No.1 by Nguyen Duc Anh.
