The music project “Les Transplantés” by Amine Fikri is a musical coherence resulted from the encounter of four free spirits coming from different corners of the world (Morocco, France, Vietnam, Australia). Together they created new connections between the gumbri from the Moroccan gnaoua tradition, the Afro-Cuban rhythms of the congas, as well as Vietnam’s traditional percussions and đàn tranh, the Malian guitar of the desert, and the traditional French and Moroccan songs…
