Inspired by one of the most famous and powerful works of the composer named Maurice Ravel, Xin Lili, an artistic director of Shanghai Ballet Theater has collaborated with Le Ngoc Van to choreograph a ballet.

The ballet will be staged at the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet, where the choreographer Le Ngoc Van will thoroughly exploit the creative power of the VNOB dancers bring audiences an aesthetic work of art.

“Bolero” is a play that shows simplicity but power from beginning to end. You will see the power of the artists through their simple but inspirational ballet moves.

The complexity is evident when the work is more and more dynamic and expressive. Through these ballet moves, we can see the mix of different character, naive but also provocative, thrilling but equally elegant.

The English National Ballet Theater had performed a small excerpt from “Suite en Blanc” by Le Ngoc Van in 2017. The full version of it will be staged by the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet on 17th and 18th October 2018.

“Suite en Blanc” is a non-plot of the script, just simply a ballet about the beauty of ballet. With solo performances, duo, trio, the group of dancers will create the gentle, elegant ballet moves on the white background of the entire work with the melody composed by composer Leo Delibes. The romantic ballet shows the beauty, the perfection and the elegance of the classical ballet language through strong and powerful body language of male as well as female artists, will bring audiences an unforgettable evening.
