The showcase “Conceptual & Expressionist Abstract Works by Trần Đán & Trần Hải Minh” reveals two temperaments, two styles, two inspirations by two artists, one from the US and the other from Vietnam, educated in Germany. While Tran Dan uses minimalistic, geometric abstract, conceptual compositions to reflect upon our dualistic and impermanent world – in its physical, emotional and intellectual manifestations – Tran Hai Minh unleashes visual emotional power through his gestural, colorful, large scale, abstract expressionist works.
