The Hanoi Festival of Creative and Design 2024, which will take place from 9 – 17 Nov 2024, with the theme “Creative Intersection” is organized under the direction of the Hanoi People’s Committee and the Vietnam Association of Architects, executed by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and the Architecture Magazine. The event is supported by the UNESCO representative office in Hanoi, Vietnam Prosperity Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (VP Bank), along with the collaboration of various departments and organizations, encourages creative synergy from the community.
The main area of the Festival is located at the August Revolution Square, connecting the “Heritage Essence” axis (Ly Thai To Street – Le Thanh Tong Street) and the “Creative Economy” axis (Bac Co Slope – Trang Tien Street). The area includes prominent architectural works such as Hanoi Children’s Palace, the Government Guest House (Bac Bo Phu), the Hanoi Opera House, the National Museum of History, the University of Hanoi, and five parks: Ly Thai To, Co Tan, Dien Hong (Con Coc) Garden…
The festival features three Pavilions: “The Corridor of Innocence” at the Hanoi Children’s Palace, “Flow” at Dien Hong Flower Garden and the Tonkin Palace, and “The Dragon Snake – Rong ran len may” at the Vietnam National Museum of History. There are also two “major exhibitions” at the Hanoi Children’s Palace and the building of the University of Hanoi at 19 Le Thanh Tong, showcasing over 50 diverse activities for the first time to the public. Additionally, there will be various artistic performances, stage shows, workshops, discussion panels, creative idea exhibitions, innovation fairs, and play areas for all ages around the creative intersection.
