Please come join us this weekend, Saturday August 22nd, for “a reading room” curated by Nguyễn Vân-Nhi… In this series, Nguyen shares a collection of books that interact with photography and materiality, and how different artists use the medium to document themes surrounding family and culture that are shaped by infrastructure.
This selection of material will investigate the interactions between the artist and her photographic practice. Through both artistic and documentative frameworks, we can observe how artists continue to use the medium to explore dynamics both personal and public, societal and private.
