On the occasion of publishing the photography book which introduces autochromes exhibited in « Colors of Hanoi, 1914-1917, color version from Global Repository », Decentralized Cooperation Project Between Hanoi and Paris Île-de-France Region (IMV) is holding a seminar with Professor Phan Huy Le and Historian Duong Trung Quoc. The talk is led by Mr. Emmanuel Cerise, IMV Co-Director and IMV Representative in Hanoi.
The seminar will address the scientific contribution of Global Repository – founded by Albert Kahn in 1912 – to promote the awareness among nations and international cooperation. Léon Busy, French photographer has been asked to make these first color photographs about Hanoi in 1914 – 1917 for storage in Global Repository by Albert Kahn.
