From the organizer:

The symphony “From the new world” by Antonín Dvořák will be the center of the classical music concert taking place on April 29, 2018 at the HCMC Opera House. The symphony expresses the composer’s strong emotions when he first arrived in the US, started a new life and experienced the multicolored American culture. It had the honor to accompany Neil Amstrong during his journey to the moon on Apollo 11 in 1969.

The concert will also introduce arias and excerpts from famous operas written by Franz Lehar and Emmerich Kalman through the performances of outstanding opera singers such as Cho Hea Ryong, Pham Khanh Ngoc, Pham Trang, Pham Duyen Huyen, Dao Mac, Nguyen Thu Huong and the HBSO choir. The concert is directed by the talented conductor Tran Nhat Minh.
