Southeast Asian Youth Chamber Orchestra Looks for Talents

The Southeast Asian Youth Chamber Orchestra (SEAYCO) is looking for young talented musicians from ASEAN countries. 25 young musicians will be selected on the basis of auditions to be members of this newly established orchestra.
Audition for young Vietnamese artists will be held at the Goethe Institut Hanoi on 11 August 2012 from 9.00 am.
Being members of the orchestra, every year, the musicians will have chance to attend a two week Masterclass led by a famous conductor. This year, the first Masterclass will be conducted in October by Professor Nicolás Pasquet from the Liszt School of Music Weimar, Germany. After the course, SEAYCO will perform in Bangkok and Yangon, Myamar.
SEAYCO members will perform together in 3 years and during this period of time, they will work closely together in a series of masterclasses. SEAYO is implemented by the Mahidol University (Thailand) and the Goethe Institut in Southeast Asia.
