You are invited to the film screening of “PASSIONE” directed by John Turturro which highlights Neapolitan folk music.

The documentary leads us through the diverse music culture in Naples, Italy. The city’s music scene has been influenced by its many residents and invaders, from the ancient Greeks to American troops occupying the country after World War II. In the documentary, Turturro looks into both the old and the new music trends. Among the featured artists are sultry singer M’barka ben Taleb, and saxophonist James Senese, whose Italian mother and unknown black American father equally influence his work.

Free entrance. With English subtitles.
