The latest installment of Vu Nhat Tan’s Experimental Music Night continues to showcase the best of Hanoi’s underground music at ATK Thursday 25 October.
This month, Tan’s laptop and keyboard will be joined by David Payne and Daniel Henneberry on electric guitars. Making her debut will also be emerging dancer Doan Minh Hoan. She’ll be performing un-choreographed, expressive movements as a response to the musicians’ improvised sounds. As always, the night’s performance will have a back drop of mind blending visuals featuring hand painted 8mm film, some of moving pictures’ earliest known recordings and freaky dancing courtesy of ATK’s resident VJ.
