From Goethe Institut:

Cinema lovers in Vietnam are looking forward to the European Film Festival 2015: current contributions of 13 European countries reflect the variety of Europe – history, culture, society and even the tradition of filmmaking differ from country to country, but are still closely linked to each other. As the German entry the Goethe-Institut Hanoi is contributing the film One day in Europe by Hannes Stöhr.

Film One day in Europe

One day in Europe
Genre: drama, colored, 93 minutes
FSK: from 12 years old
Germany/Spain 2005
Russian, Turkish, English, French, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Gallegan with Vietnamese and English subtitles
Awards and Festivals: Berlin International Film Festival, Brussels European Film Festival, Nuremberg Film Festival “Turkey-Germany”

Four colorful and light-hearted stories about quirky characters and the amusing misunderstandings that cross-cultural communication often provides. All take place on one single day in different cities, and in each case those language barriers are compounded by a chaos of another sort.

Director Hannes Stöhr

In his second feature film, director Hannes Stöhr takes a warmhearted, intrigued and wonderfully light look at people in Europe, people who meet and misunderstand one another, who travel, arrive and depart – and who sometimes become close.
