From Long Bien Festival of Arts 2010:
If you are a graphic designer, artist, fashion designer, or just a creative individual, then we invite you to participate in the competition for creating the greatest T-shirt design.

Sign up and submit your design by 10 November 2010. The winners will be notified by email by 12 November 2010.

Prize
1st Prize: 15 million VND; 2nd Prize: 10 million VND; 3rd Prize: 5 million VND; 10 finalists: 1 million VND
1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winner’s design will be printed as Festival Merchandise.

How to enter
Send an e-mail entitled “Shirt Long Bien” to [email protected] by 10 November 2010 by 23:00 ICT (Vietnam time) with your contact details, and your design in jpeg format.

Background on the Festival

The first Long Bien Festival took place in October 2009, it was the first time every social class and generation had access to Art. The Festival helped to save the Long Bien Bridge from becoming obsolete. The structure was built in 1903 by the French Colonialists, it endured bomb after bomb during the American war, but was rebuilt every time as a symbol of Vietnam’s will and courage for independence. The Festival witnessed over 50,000 people who came to show their sentiments for the bridge. The Festival will run again, always free and accessible to Everyone, this time to commemorate Hanoi’s 1000th anniversary.
