“Yôkaï” itself gathers under one word: gods, spirits, fabulous animals or imaginary creatures, from Japanese mythology and thus the animist culture of the first inhabitants of the archipelago.
Graduated from the National Conservatory of Paris, Anne Paceo is actually one of the best female drummers in France, recognized with many renowned awards (“Victoires de la musique” in 2011, “Django d’Or” in 2009, among others) and critically acclaimed composer. In this European Music Festival, Anne Paceo will share with the Vietnamese audience her album “Yôkaï”, inspired by her travels across Asia and Africa and rhythms and music she has discovered in these continents.
Admission to the concerts is free of charge. Tickets can be reserved and obtained from 9:00 am, 16 November in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City at the following locations:
